Update - 13th June

I'm actually pretty lazy to say anything else. So tired nowadays since we have a visitor from Singapore! Its Twinny's best friend for pretty much seven years already :)
The onlt other note I'll add about this is that my mom said its legs were ugly. Literally. And she told me my last piece's eyes were too scary and if I kept drawing such scary eyes (which I actually like to do), I'll have scary eyes too.
Anyways, tired. See you on my next update!

PS. I might start a twin blog with Twinny~

Comparison and Improvement

So, what do you think?

WIP - Update 27th May

I have to say, I'm in love with this. Though my family members I've shown so far don't seem to find her as pretty as I do.  Do look foward to this!

Also, I'll probably be selling my original artworks ^^ Need the money so my mom can have a good supply in my bank account.

Good night, sleep tight!

Update 10th May

I'm done with this! With a case of backdrop M.I.A. Oh well. Twinny help me by telling me to add red on the bangles. It helped a lot. Because my bangles made the whole picture too gold. It is still too gold...
Anyway, time to work on a new one! I don't think the stress of exams will ever distract me.
This will probably be scanned tomorrow~

9th May Update

So... I went and continue this... with many mistakes. I wanted her to cry blood, but it freaked me and the colour of her hair doesn't go well with it. I'm still fixing her lips... and the brown highlights turned out great, I doubted it would since it was a suggestion from a funny friend. I want to murder myself. Something about this one makes me hate myself sooooo bad.

And I finally completed this, and I also want to murder myself because something in it is making me feel extremely dissatisfied. ._.

Am I going through another self depression? I think I'm just hungry.
Bye again.

This is a part of my Arabian Nights Series! Truthfully, the 'Arabian Nights Series' doesn't mean anything.
I just said so. So, yeah.

She's a genie, in chains and all, but I'm having a debate with myself, since the holy leaves on her head was supposed to show that she once was a godess but now has turned into a monster. And I don't think greek gods have anything to do with genies.

Also, my father's awfully pissy nowadays, and is contantly throwing his flames at me. I really shouldn't tolerate him too much -.- Probably the reason I get bullied the most is because I accept that I'm the weakest and I don't really fight back. When I do, I get scolded. The others never got scolded like I do. Sigh.

Sketches and the Undone. 30th April.

Yay! Art stuff! I was worried I haven't been posting about my art when this is supposed to be an art blog...

These are some really old stuff that I decided not to finish...

This is a sketch I did a few weeks ago... I was trying to create a new character, I think.

I recently continued this sketch, I did her face and sharpen things up. I think I'll be lining this soon.

And this, I haven't finish it yet ._. I still have to colour a bit more then recolour with colour pencils and then have it scanned.

:D

Say, does my stuff looks like they have same faces?

Excessive Preps and Bears

 Part 1

We're actually having a day of not having to study, especially since twenty three teachers out of thirty will not be at school tomorrow. This year's election will be held at my school. The twelve year old 'dump' or 'gangster' school. Well, I'll say our school has gangsters like all other schools, and they don't cause a ruckus. Or bully and dominate the whole school. But the 'dump'... Our school is one of the few schools that accepts the ones that have been kicked out of other schools and stuff. Because our school is small, I think, and the students are half of other schools...

Okay back to the point! We Form 3's will be having a Teacher's Day Card Making Session! ._. Which is actually just a pain in the ass for 99% of the people participating. But knowing me, I had a little too much to pack.

So, all that for a card. And I'm missing the most important material requested. Manila card. Ugh.
Here consists of,
  1. A mass of random coloured papers. (Which seem to only have colours I don't like.)
  2. Art book(s) (2)
  3. Markers in respective pencil boxes. (2)
  4. Colour pencils.
  5. Mechanical pencil.
  6. Scissors
  7. Punchers and Stamps
  8. Glitter glue
  9. Two types of glue
  10. Handmade paper
  11. and... Miscellaneous bunch of papers.

Then, I'll also bring my sketchpad and pencil box. Then I had a debate about bags.

I wanted to bring the Playez one, but its dusty and whatnot. I'm currently using the pink addidas (I dislike pink though) and I didn't want to empty everything just to put my stuff back in again. So problem solved, I take the blue version the the addidas, which is my twin's emergency bag pack. ._.

Part 2

Proto Bears! (Hehe, I nickname them that, but twinny probably won't let me.) They were for sale for RM10 which is around 3.35 USD one and I particularly like this lot, since its made for a family. There is actually a junior who thought enough of her family to buy them one each! And I wouldn't spend RM 40 for them, not even for my family (unless its really needed), since RM 40 can buy 40 nasi lemaks, or 40 cups of drinks, or 80 pieces of curry puffs, or 6 McChickens. Its a lot of money for a Malaysian kid.

The most exciting thing was, I knew three out of four of these people. One is my English teacher (Red bear, mother), senior (Blue bear, elder brother) and the junior (Pink bear). So the dad has the White bear.

On their butts you can see their initials :P Those are the weird requests. All the earnings of these bears goes to the SPCA. And twinny raised RM300, and she only advertised to the afternoon sessions in my school (Form 1, Form 2). If she advertised to the upper forms, she'll be growing grey hairs already.

Okay ta for now.

The Differences of Colour Pencils on Copics (With some money saved too!)

Hey again. I wanted to show you the differences with and without using colour pencils on copics. I've always find colour pencils to be a must have when enhancing copic artworks.

From the picture above, the more prominient differences would be the shading, I think, and the lip colour. I don't have the money to purchase multiple shades of copics so colour pencils actually make up to it. after adding a few coats of red on the areas I intend to shade, I let it dry then I took a dark rusty brown (I use staedtler colour pencils, I got them free when I was young, loads, cause my dad used to work at staedtler.), and just shade the areas I want darker. The effect is gorgeous, with slight textures. Not to mention I didn't use money on it. Also I did this with her dress, which I was having problems with, since reapplying copic layers on the same area deosn't give the shading effect as dark red does, and it really helps! And to think I use to hate colour pencils! :>

Lastly, colour pencils do great for 'make-ups'. Take shavings of red colour pencil lead and just rub them on the cheeks and lips. I really love this teqnique and my friends (who is already bored of me drawing all the time), gave me a satisfactory 'Wow~' at how it turned out.

Conclusion, colour pencils work really well with copics, and it saves money too! The only flaw is that colour pencils can't last too long. :<
